Privacy policy

Autism Atlas is an independent Ontario directory operated by email at info@autismatlas.ca. This page explains what we collect and why. We follow PIPEDA for commercial activity and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) for email.

What we collect

Notify me emails — if you submit the homepage form, we store the address and any city you name so we can tell you when listings are added nearby. That is the only use.
Contact, claim and report forms — name, email, message, and the listing you wrote about. Used to answer you and correct the map.
Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-EC0HX2LDK1) records page views and approximate region. We do not sell this.
Payment — Featured subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

What we do not do

We do not sell email lists. We do not use Notify me addresses for Featured sales pitches unless you asked about listing your own service. We do not collect health information on purpose. Do not send a child’s diagnosis or OHIP number through our forms.

How long we keep it

Notify me addresses stay until you ask to be removed. Form messages stay as long as needed to fix the listing, then we delete or anonymize them. You can request deletion at info@autismatlas.ca.

Cookies and analytics

GA4 may set cookies. You can block them in your browser. Theme preference (light/dark) is stored only on your device.
